10 Years of Bridge FP
Ten years ago, I started Bridge Financial Planning. All I had was the business name and a lot of ideas. The early days were a steep learning curve about logos, websites, and technology integrations. But very quickly, I was able to focus more intently on why Bridge Financial Planning exists. Our Clients.
I’ve always loved the work we do. Personal finance is deeply personal. We each bring our own hopes, dreams, and fears about money to the table when we start the work of true financial planning. We often see only the best and worst of money depicted, but don’t often see the day-to-day brick laying that eventually builds a solid foundation. But it’s not all about the money, is it?
At its core, personal finance is about aligning our resources with our values. Each of us has a unique combination, but there are often common threads. For some, that may look like the house that will become a home, the education that will propel the next generation, the charitable giving that helps fulfill the promises of our community, and the vacations that build memories and restore us. Delving into the work of personal finance can silence the insecurity of past financial mistakes. It helps build resilience from personal losses and confidence in the future.
I wish we could share each of your stories because each of them is meaningful and worth telling, but they aren’t our stories to tell. Simply know that we see your dedication, tough choices, growth, loss, and successes and are always inspired. It’s an honor to be on your team.
Thank you for a great 10 years! Your Bridge Financial Planning team is looking forward to serving you for many more years to come.
With deep appreciation,
Jennifer
